It’s good to see so many designers creating work to support the fundraising effort for the Japan earthquake appeals this week. There are some great designs doing the rounds of the design blogs, mostly posters and t-shirts where the profits are donated to the Red Cross and others.
They are clearly inspired by the beauty and simplicity of Yusaku Kamekura’s 1964 Tokyo Olympics poster (below) – an absolute design classic.
